September 24, 2005, Lexington, Ky. - DePauw improved to 5-2 on the season following a 3-0 shutout over Washington & Jefferson in a game played at Transylvania. The Presidents dropped to 4-5 with the loss.

DePauw held a 1-0 halftime lead on Meredith Ellis' goal with 18:48 remaining. Allison Baccich made it 2-0 at 8:09 left in the game, while Emily Wiscomb closed out the scoring with 3:32 remaining in the contest.

The Tigers outshot Washington & Jefferson 42-5 and held a 13-3 advantage in penalty corners. Karyn Keenan recorded eight saves in posting the shutout in goal.
