September 18, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Allison Baccich's goal with 4:31 left in the first overtime lifted the Tigers to a 2-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over visiting Sewanee. DePauw improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the SCAC with its third straight win, while Sewanee dropped to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the contest on Becca Gaines goal with an assist from Emily Wiscomb with 21:20 left in the second half.
Sewanee tied the game and forced overtime when Charlotte Baptiste scored an unassisted goal. Baccich's game-winning score came on Wiscomb's second assist of the afternoon.
DePauw outshot Sewanee 12-5 and held a 15-11 advantage in corners. Kaitlin Thomure recorded four saves in goal for DePauw, while Blake Rosen had nine for Sewanee.
DePauw hosts Bellarmine on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
