September 11, 2005, Springfield, Ohio - The DePauw men's soccer team slipped to 2-1-1 on the season following a 2-0 loss at Wittenberg. The hosts improved to 2-2-1 on the year.
Wittenberg's Matt Borland scored at 8:18 on an assist from Mike Conley before Joe Zeller rounded out the scoring at 61:58 with an assist from Borland and Nick Hauff.
Wittenberg outshot DePauw 19-15 and held a 6-1 advantage in corners. John Fenley recorded eight saves for DePauw, while Adam Horrocks had 11 for Wittenberg.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, September 17, when they travel to Ohio Wesleyan.
