September 10, 2005, Hanover, Ind. - The DePauw volleyball team finished second at the Hanover Invitational after losing in the championship match to Spalding 3-0 (30-20, 30-17, 30-12).

The Tigers advanced to the finals after completing pool play with a 3-0 record after defeating Franklin this morning by a 3-1 (30-21, 30-26, 28-30, 30-26) score.

Kim Hamer (pictured) was named to the all-tournament team. The 6-2 Tigers return to action next Wednesday when they host Earlham.
