April 30, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Graham Wellman notched a school record and earned automatic qualification into the NCAA Division III Championships in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 30:21.82 at the Gina Relays at Hillsdale College.

Several Tigers also committed at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Meet as Ryan McElwain finished fifth in the shot put (12.33 meters) and 11th in the discus (29.30 meters). Michael Griffy was seventh in the hammer at 39.92 meters.

At the Stan Lyons Invitational at IUPUI, Matthew Behrensmeyer was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:36.32, while Drew Wyant was fouth in the 1,500 meters. Dusty Kime was sixth in the 5,000 meters in 15:08.60 as was Jamarcus Shephard in the long jump at 6.50 meters.

Ben Stallsworth was seventh in the 5,000 meters in 15:09.81 and Keith Marshall was seventh in the 1,500 meters in 3:59.63.
