Box Score 2 March 31, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw swept its doubleheader with visiting Anderson by scoring the game-winning run in its final at-bat each time as the Tigers won the first game 3-2 in eight innings and the nightcap 2-1. The Tigers improved to 13-6-1, while Anderson dropped to 3-8.
Carli Worthman's single in the bottom of the eighth of the first game scored Laura Schlensker with the game winner.
Anderson took a 1-0 lead in the first on Lesli Randall's triple that scored Dawn Sanders. The Tigers tied the score in the bottom of the first as Nicole Kernan and Jessica Krueger reached on back-to-back singles and Kernan scored on an error.
The Ravens took a 2-1 lead in the sixth on Amy Loehndorf's RBI double that scored Randall. Worthman's single in the bottom of the sixth scored Ashley Sewell with the tying run.
Worthman finished the first game with two hits, while Randall had a pair for the Ravens. Lauren Curosh improved to 7-3 with the win, while Amber Hall dropped to 2-4.
In the second game, DePauw took a 1-0 lead in the fourth when Kristy Mahon singled home Jessica Bowlds. Anderson tied the game in the sixth as Sanders drove in Jami Lawson with a double.
DePauw won the game in the bottom of the sixth as Worthman doubled with two outs and scored on Mahon's single.
Hillary Enyart allowed just four hits and improved to 5-2, while Kelly Thompson suffered the loss and dropped to 1-3.
The Tigers open Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday when they host Centre in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
