February 5, 2005, Terre Haute, Ind. - The 13th-ranked DePauw men's swimming and diving team finished the dual meet portion of their schedule with a 174-69 victory at Rose-Hulman to improve to 9-2 on the season.
The Tigers took firsts in 12 of the 13 events on the way to the victory. Matt Forsheim won two individual events with firsts in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 17:37.36 and the 500 free in 5:08.79. Mike Mioduski also was a double winner with firsts in the 200 free in 1:51.28 and the 100 free in 50.0 seconds. Jonathan Enenbach swept the diving competition with a score of 200.60 on the one-meter board and 209.65 on the three-meter.
Other DePauw first-place finishes were turned in by Robert Alexander (50 free, 22.29), Brock Sishc (200 individual medley, 2:04.49), Evan Kennel (100 backstroke, 54.54) and Gib Wallace (100 breaststroke, 1:04.86)
The 200 medley relay of Kennel, Wallace, Peter Riggs and Mioduski) won in 1:40.66 as did the 200 free relay of Kennel, Matt Krein, Wallace and Alexander in 1:32.87.
DePauw concludes the regular season on February 17-19 as they compete in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in San Antonio.
