February 18, 2005, San Antonio, Texas - Through two days of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, the DePauw men hold a 33-point lead over Sewanee and a 53-point edge over Trinity.

The 200-yard medley relay of Evan Kennel, Michael Young, Robert Alexander and Mike Mioduski finished second in 1:36.26, while Brock Sishc placed second in the 400 individual medley in an NCAA provisional time of 4:11.61. Young came back to place third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.35.

Kennel won the 100 backstroke in an automatic qualfiying time of 51.38 seconds.

Competition concludes on Saturday.
