October 9, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Visiting Trinity, ranked second in Division III, scored all three of its goals in the first half on the way to a 3-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over DePauw.
DePauw dropped to 6-3-1 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC, while Trinity remained unbeaten at 12-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
Kyle Altman scored the first of two goals at 9:38 on an assist from Rusty Harrrington and added an unassisted goal at 32:42. Jonathan David made it 3-0 with an assist from Tyrone Petrakis at 42:10.
DePauw's Jeremy Rielley scored the hosts lone goal with an assist from Nick Noel at 64:21.
Trinity outshot DePauw 18-7 and held a 3-2 advantage in corners. DePauw's John Fenley and Trinity's Matt Handy each recorded one save in goal.
DePauw returns to action on Friday, October 14, when it travels to Millsaps.
