October 8, 2005, Danville, Ky. - DePauw dropped to 6-5 overall and 2-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 1-0 loss at Centre. The Colonels improved to 6-6 overall and 2-3 in the SCAC.

Jessica Rublein's first-half goal with an assist from Ashely Distler was all the Colonels would need in picking up the victory.

The Tigers outshot Centre 13-12 and held a 14-7 advantage in penalty corners. Kaitlin Thomure recorded three saves for the Tigers while Centre's Ann Guagliardo totaled two saves in posting the shutout.

DePauw hosts Kenyon on Sunday, October 16.
