October 29, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - The Tigers rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit, but visiting Lindenwood scored in the first overtime to take a 2-1 victory. DePauw dropped to 10-6 with the loss, while the Lions improved to 3-6.
Lindenwood took the lead in the first on Crystal Thomas' goal on an assist from Callie Check before DePauw tied the game on Julie Brayton's second-half goal with an assist from Beth Seegers. Check scored the game-winner in overtime, unassisted.
DePauw outshot Lindenwood 22-17 and held a 9-5 advantage in corners.
Kaitlin Thomure recorded16 saves for the Tigers, while Jennica Albertson had 20 for the Lions.
The Tigers host the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on November 5-6. DePauw faces Sewanee in the second semifinal at 2 p.m., while Rhodes and Centre meet in the first semifinal at noon.
