October 20, 2005, Wheaton, Ill. - DePauw dropped to 7-6 on the season following a 2-0 loss at seventh-ranked Wheaton. The Thunder improved to 14-2 with the victory.

Wheaton scored both goals in the first half as Kari Klynstra scored, unassisted, at 24:21 and Kira Davis added a goal at 30:03 with an assist from Bethany Barton.

The Thunder outshot the Tigers 16-5 and held an 8-3 advantage in corners. Brooke Shipley recorded six saves in goal for DePauw, while Wheaton's Ashley Vratil had one in recording the shutout.

DePauw hosts Sewanee in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game on Friday, October 28, at 2 p.m. The Tigers currently lead the SCAC.
