October 2, 2005, Sewanee, Tenn. - DePauw dropped to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 2-1 loss at Sewanee. The hosts improved to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
Allison Baccich put the Tigers ahead with 20:49 left in the first half on an assist from Meredith Ellis before Sewanee knotted the score with 11:48 remaining in the half on Charlotte Baptiste's goal which was assisted by Kari Anderson.
Sewanee scored the game-winning goal in the second half as Jane Moss scored on Catherine Avery's assist.
Sewanee outshot the Tigers 24-8 and held a 13-6 advantage in penalty corners. Kaitlin Thomure recorded 13 DePauw saves, while Blake Rosen had three for Sewanee.
DePauw travels to Centre on October 8.
