October 16, 2005, Atlanta, Ga. - The Tigers dropped to 7-4-1 overall and 3-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 3-0 loss at Oglethorpe. The Stormy Petrels improved to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in the SCAC.

Oglethorpe's Anthony Thompson scored on an assist from David Mueller at 38:52 to give the Stormy Petrels all they would need. Matt Brisindine scored with an assist from Russell Kramer at 54:50 and Josh Rosendahl made it 3-0 with an assist from Zach Atkinson at 59:33.

The Stormy Petrels outshot the Tigers 17-4, while DePauw held a 4-3 advantage in corners. John Fenley recorded three saves in goal for the Tigers, while Sean Fernandez totaled three for Oglethorpe in posting the shutout.

The Tigers host Millikin on October 21 at 1 p.m.
