GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The eighth-ranked women's soccer team improved to 5-1-1 and remained unbeaten in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play after a 2-0 win over visiting Oglethorpe. The Stormy Petrels dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-4 in SCAC play.
The Tigers scored both goals in the first half as Davis Federspiel scored just 2:14 into the contest on an assist from Kim Schreiner. Mary Beth Robinson scored at 26:12 with the assist going to Crissy Harter.
Abby Currens and Julie Eslinger shared the shutout in goal which was DePauw's fourth of the season. Ashley Money had 10 saves for Oglethorpe. DePauw outshot the Stormy Petrels 24-1 and held a 15-1 advantage in corners.
DePauw returns to action on Friday, October 1, when they travel to Sewanee for an SCAC contest.
