GREENCASTLE, Ind. - DePauw improved to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after a 2-0 win over Oglethorpe at Boswell Field. The Stormy Petrels dropped to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the SCAC.
Blake Porter gave the Tigers all they would need at the 21:46 mark with an assist from Craig Lippincott. Mark Prosser's header off of Lippincott's cross at 72:46 made it 2-0.
Kyle Clemens notched his second shutout in goal for the Tigers and recorded five saves. Johnathan Bassler had five saves for Oglethorpe. DePauw outshot the Stormy Petrels 23-10 and each team had six corners.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, October 1, when the travel to Sewanee for an SCAC contest.
