Sewanee, Tenn. - DePauw opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a sweep of Rose-Hulman and host Sewanee at the SCAC East Divisional. The Tigers improved to 7-8 over with the wins.

DePauw opened with a 31-29, 30-22, 30-23 win over Rose-Hulman as Sunny Schaeuble led the way with nine kills and Jenni Zeser had 12 dids. Amie Humerickhouse totaled seven blocks and Zeser added two aces.

The Tigers then defeated Sewanee 25-30, 30-11, 30-13, 30-14 as Liz Pollom led with 13 kills and Zeser had 23 digs. Humerickhouse again had seven blocks and Michelle King finished with 25 assists.

The Tigers face Oglethorpe and Centre on Sunday.
