Greencastle, Ind. - The 12th-ranked DePauw Tigers improved to 3-1-1 on the season with a 1-0 win over visiting and seventh-ranked Ohio Wesleyan in double overtime. The Battlin' Bishops dropped to 3-3 with the loss. The lone goal of the contest was an own goal that was a deflection off of a corner at 107:01.
DePauw outshot the Battlin' Bishops 22-16 and held and 8-4 edge in corners. Abby Currens recorded the shutout in goal for the Tigers with 11 saves. Ali Gary totaled four saves in the first half for Ohio Wesleyan.
DePauw opens Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday, September 24, when it hosts Millsaps.
