Hanover, Ind. - The Tigers scored twice in the top of the seventh of the nightcap of their doubleheader and held on for a 5-4 win at Hanover to earn a split of the twinbill. Hanover won the first game by a 2-1 score. DePauw is 14-23 on the season, while the Panthers are 8-17.

In the second game, DePauw trailed 3-0 after three as the Panthers scored once in the second and twice in the third. Danelle Pattison led off the second with a single and moved to third on sacrifice bunts by Jill Boys and Meghan Lunsford. Pattison scored when Syndey Osborn reached on an error. In the third, Jill Slaven singled with one out before Stephanie Elfers reached on an error. Monica Pogue singled to score slaven and Boys later singled home Pogue. 

Laura Schlensker walked in the fourth and moved to second on Ashley Sewell's single before Caroline Provan drove in Schlensker with DePauw's first run. The Tigers tied the game at 3-3 in the fifth as Nicole Kernan led off with a walk and moved to second on a groundout before scoring on Schlensker's single. After Sewell reached on an error, Provan singled home Schlensker.

The Tigers took the lead in the seventh as Kristy Mahon led off by reaching on an error and advanced to second on Schlensker's sacrifice bunt. Sewell singled Mahon to third and Provan followed with a run-scoring base hit to make it 4-3. Angela Keslin drove in Sewell with a base hit.

Provan had three of DePauw's 10 hits, while Keslin and Sewell had two apiece. Provan drove in three in the win. Pogue had three of Hanover's 11 hits with Elfers, Pattison and Boys each adding a pair. Lauren Curosh improved to 7-12 with the win. Stephanie Piontek suffered the loss.

Curosh pitched a three-hitter in the first game, but the Tigers managed just one run in the 2-1 loss. DePauw scored its lone run in the first as Mahon hit a two-out triple and came home on Schlensker's double. Hanover tied the game in the bottom of the first as Elfers singled and moved to second on Pattison's sacrifice bunt. Elfers scored on Pogue's double.

The Panthers scored the game-winner in the fifth as Lunsford reached on an error and advanced to third on Osborn's bunt. She scored on Casey Wallace's double.

Four different Tigers had one hit each and three different Hanover players had one apiece. Curosh took the loss, while Piontek picked up the win in relief.
