CHICAGO, Ill. - The 19th-ranked DePauw women's soccer team dropped to 9-4-2 on the season after a 3-1 loss at 14th-ranked University of Chicago. The Maroons improved to 14-1-2 with the win.
Renee Neuner put the Tigers ahead at 17:42 on an assist from Randi Leppla. Bridget Hogan pushed the lead to 2-0 at 20:59 with an assist from Christine Farmer. Kate Nickols cut the deficit to 2-1 with an unassisted score at 25:42. Hogan scored her second goal of the game with just four minutes left on an assist from Maya Pratt.
Chicago outshot the Tigers, while DePauw held a 1-0 advantage in corners. DePauw Abby Currens recorded seven saves and Ann Zimo had six for the Maroons.
DePauw travels to Rose-Hulman on Saturday, November 6.
