GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Allison Baccich scored twice in the final 12 minutes to lift host DePauw to a 2-1 win over visiting Oberlin. The win snapped a three-game DePauw losing streak as the Tigers improved to 7-5 on the season. The Yeowomen dropped to 7-6 with the loss.
Christine Politis put Oberlin on the board first with 17:40 left in the contest before Baccich knotted the scored with 12:04 remaining on an assist from Emily Wightman. Baccich scored the game-winner on an assist from Becca Gaines with just 2:39 remaining.
DePauw outshot Oberlin 22-8, while the Yeowomen held an 8-7 advantage in corners. Sara Shalowitz totaled seven saves for the Tigers.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, October 22, when they travel to Transylvania.
