SEWANEE, Tenn. - DePauw dropped to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 3-2 double-overtime loss at Sewanee. The hosts improved to 6-3-1 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC.
Sewanee's Trey Moore scored with 1:07 remaining in the second overtime on an assist from Alex Marsden to give his team the win.
Sewanee jumped out to a lead on a goal by Patrick Burke at 21:47 from Jake Dougher. Page Cotton knotted the score at 1-1 at 28:57 with an assist from Mario Ingraffia. Sewanee took a 2-1 lead after Barry Slagle scored with just under four minutes left in the half with an assist from Marsden. DePauw's Mark Prosser forced the extra sessions with a header at 81:13.
Sewanee held a 17-9 advantage in shots and a 7-6 edge in corners. Kyle Clemense recorded seven saves for DePauw and Tyler Blackwell had five for Sewanee.
