DePauw improved to 5-2 on the season with a 3-2 overtime win over host Bellarmine on Saturday and a 1-0 victory over Rhodes today.

Becca Gaines scored with one minute left in the first overtime to give DePauw the win at Bellarmine. Emily Yates gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead in the first half on an assist from Becca Gaines. Bellarmine scored twice in the second half to take the lead before Julie Fries knotted the score at 2-2 on an assist from Gaines.

DePauw and Rhodes battled to a scoreless tie in the first half before Gaines scored the game-winner with 21 minutes remaining on an assist from Erin Dodd. Sara Shalowitz recorded the shutout for the Tigers with eight saves.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 20, when they again face Bellarmine in a match at Lindenwood. DePauw and Lindenwood square off on Sunday, September 21.
