Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw improved to 2-0 on the season after a 2-1 win over Kalamazoo at the Wabash Classic in Crawfordsville. The Hornets slipped to 1-1 with the loss.
Blake Porter scored the game winner at 72:42 on an assist from T.J. Powers. The Tigers got on the board first with a goal from Mark Prosser and assisted by Bryce Skeeters. The Hornets knotted the contest at 1-1 on a penalty kick from Brett Stinar at 50:41.
Kalamazoo outshot the Tigers 13-11 and each team totaled three corner kicks. Wes Molyneaux recrded three saves in goal for DePauw.
The Tigers return to action on September 6 when they travel to Wittenberg.
