DePauw slipped to 1-1 on the season following a 1-0 loss to Washington (Mo.) in a game played at Wheaton (Ill.) College.

The game was deadlocked 0-0 before the Bears scored with 11:06 left after Kim Raess scored on an assist from Meghan Fowler-Finn. The Bears outshot the Tigers 15-7 and held a 9-4 advantage in corners. Ali Glibkowski recorded three saves for 10th-ranked DePauw.

The Tigers return to action on September 6 when they travel to Wittenberg.
