The Tigers finished the 2003 season with a 22-13 overall record and in third place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 13-5 league mark after winning three of five matches at the second and final SCAC Cross-Divisional hosted by Centre.
DePauw opened with a 27-30, 30-24, 30-25, 30-22 win over Millsaps as Renee Meyrose led the Tigers with 11 kills, while Jenny Wingstrom had 15 digs. Michelle King had four aces and Sunny Schaeuble added 11 blocks.
In the second match Trinity beat DePauw 30-17, 27-30, 30-14, 30-23 with Wingstrom totaling 17 kills and Meyrose adding 21 digs.
The Tigers then came back with a 30-24, 30-23, 30-15 victory over Rhodes with Schaeuble finishing with seven blocks and Wingstrom contributing five aces. In Saturday's final match, DePauw beat Hendrix 30-19, 30-15, 30-13. Wingstrom led the Tigers with 15 kills, whle Wingstrom had 10 digs.
On Sunday, Southwestern defeated the Tigers 30-26, 29-31, 30-25, 30-27 as Wingstrom led the way with 14 kills. Leigh Ann Matesich had 19 digs and Wingstrom added 18, while Amie Humerickhouse finished with eight blocks.
