DePauw faces Maroons in NCAA semifinals; listen online

The 15-4-1 DePauw women's soccer team takes on the 16-1-4 University of Chicago in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship semifinals on Saturday, November 29, at Oneonta State in Oneonta, New York. Game time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The first semifinal game pits The College of New Jersey (18-4) against Oneonta State (19-1-3) at 11 a.m. Saturday's semifinal game will be carried live by WGRE (91.5FM) and available online.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for college students and $2 for seniors and children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available at the gate on game day.

 

 

DePauw and Chicago met on September 20 at DePauw's Boswell Field with the Maroons winning 3-0. That loss left the Tigers with a 3-3 record and since DePauw has compiled a 12-1-1 record. In that gameRenee Neuner scored two goals with Randi Leppla adding a third. Chicago leads the all-time series 5-1-2.

 

The Tigers advanced to the semifinals after a 0-0 tie at Virginia Wesleyan that ended with DePauw winning the shootout, 5-3. Chicago won at Puget Sound by a 2-1 overtime score in its quarterfinal match.
