DePauw tops Sewanee 125-98

RESULTS

 

DePauw improved to 3-4 on the season with a 125-98 win against visiting Sewanee at the Erdmann Natatorium.

 

The Tigers opened the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:55.77. Megan Davenport later won the 50 freestyle in 25.31 seconds, while Amy Ratliff finished first in both one- and three-meter diving with 198.28 and 200.95 points, respectively.

 

Lauren Winter won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.83, while Denise Vidas took first in the 100 free in 56.09 and Katie Beehler won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.49. The Tigers then won the 200 free relay in 1:43.33.

 

DePauw returns to action on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, when it hosts the DePauw Swimming Invitational. The divers compete in the Wabash Diving Invitational on the same two days.
