Greencastle, Ind.--An 8-0 run lifted the DePauw Tigers from a 51-42 lead 
with 13:17 left to a 59-42 advantage with 10:04 remaining and the Old Gold held 
on the rest of the way in the 74-55 home win. DePauw (6-2) picked up its sixth 
straight victory, while Albion fell to 4-3.
    The Tigers built a seven-point lead in the first 3:33 of the game and 
still held a 16-12 advantage with 12:37 left in the half. Albion scored the 
next seven points and 11 of the next 13 to take a 23-18 lead at the 8:26 mark. 
In the final five minutes of the first half DePauw outscored the Britons 12-4 
to take a 40-33 halftime lead.
    DePauw extended the lead to 14 in the first 5:24 of the second half as 
Ryan Miller nailed a trey and Ryan Hooker buried two three-pointers. Albion cut 
the lead to nine before the Tigers went on the 8-0 run. In that stretch, 
freshman guard Brad Stevens scored five. The lead stayed in double digits the 
rest of the way.
    Hooker led the Tigers with 19, while Stevens added 12. T.J. Carnegie 
paced Albion with 17, followed by Chuck Pinter with 14 and Greg Adkins with 10.
    Seven different DePauw players combined for 11 three-pointers as the 
Tigers nailed 11 of 24 from long range.
    DePauw hosts Indiana-Northwest next Saturday at 4 p.m. as part of the 
Tiger/Giant Classic. Wabash and Marian square off in the 2 p.m. game. All four 
teams then move to Wabash for Sunday games.
