Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw rising senior
Becky Williams (Zionsville, Ind./University High School of Indiana) has been named Academic All-America® Women's At-Large as selected by CSC (College Sports Communicators) for NCAA Division III. She was chosen to the third team and is among 45 student-athletes named to one of three teams.
A kinesiology major with a 3.92 cumulative grade point average, Williams was a first team Division III all-America selection this year by the Women's Golf Coaches Association after earning second team honors in 2024. She also garnered all-region accolades for the third straight year including her first season at Otterbein in 2023. The fifth-ranked golfer in Division III, Williams finished the season with a program-record 72.84 stroke average over 19 rounds including six tournament titles. She won the North Coast Athletic Conference individual championship for the second straight year and competed at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships where missed the 36-hole cut by just one stroke.
Williams is among DePauw's 57 student-athletes to earn Academic All-America® honors since the program's inception in 1952. Including multiple-year winners, DePauw student-athletes have earned the distinction 74 times including a department-best five this year. DePauw men's soccer defender Alec McCarty earned third team honors in December, while Jonathan Bruder and Robby Ballentine were first team choices in football in January.
