Greencastle, Ind. - In voting by the league's coaches, three DePauw student-athletes have been selected to the all-North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Team.
Guard
Ava Hassel (Sr., Portsmouth, Ohio/Notre Dame) earned a spot on the first team, while forward
Olivia Hart (So., Murfreesboro, Tenn./Central Magnet) was a second team choice and guard
Riley Mont (Jr., Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) was chosen to the third team.
Hassel, who also earned first team honors in 2023 and 2024, leads the Tigers in scoring (12.4), assists (3.3), steals (2.2) and 3-pointers made (43).
Hart garnered all-NCAC honors for the first time and grabs 6.4 per game including a career-high 18 in Saturday's NCAC Tournament championship game. Hart averages 10.3 points per game and blocks a team-high 2.2 shots per contest. She was selected as recipient of the Nan Nichols Award as the NCAC Tournament MVP.
Mont was a second team choice last year and third team in 2023. She averages 9.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest and has knocked in 32 3-pointers this season.
DePauw won the NCAC Tournament title with
Saturday's 46-44 win over Wittenberg and earned automatic qualification into the NCAA Division III Championship. The Tigers
open tournament play on Friday, March 7, with a 4:30 p.m. CST first-round game against Bethel (Minn.) at Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
