Newville, Pa.- For the seventh time in program history, the DePauw women's cross country team competed in the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships and finished with a total of 487 points to secure 20th place, which ties DePauw's fourth-best finish in program history.
Pacing the Tigers with a course time of 22:05.5 was Sophie Porter who finished in 53rd for 44 points. Behind Porter, fellow junior Lily Monnett finished with a time of 22:31.3 for 74 points and 101st place. Wrapping her senior cross country season on a high note, Meredith Sierpina finished in 156th place with a time of 22:52.8 for 111 points.
DePauw's two first-year runners, Grace Thomas and Grace Flores, finished in 167th (22:56.2,118 points) and 194th (23:04.2, 138 points), bringing the Tigers' top five-point total to 484. Rounding out the DePauw's seven was Amzie Maienbrook, who completed the course in 23:32.0 (247th, 181 points), followed by Brynn Urban, who finished with a time of 23:36.7 (256th, 188 points).
