Tigers Finish Seventh at NCAA Regional; Monnett Returns to National Meet

Holland, Mich. - Led by Claudia Monnett's seventh-place finish, DePauw totaled 194 points and finished seventh at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional.

Monnett covered the course in 21:50.9 to earn a spot in Saturday's NCAA Division III Championships for the second straight year.

Emma MacAnally was 30th in 22:51.1 to also earn all-region honors. Lois Miller followed in 38th in 23:00.9 followed by Becca Conley in 48th in 23:08.2 and Kendall Weinert in 72nd in 23:42.1.

Sarah Selzer was 78th in 23:46.6 with Gabby Coffing crossing in 125th in 24:31.2.

"This was a very solid race for the women," head coach Kori Stoffregen said. 

"We are excited that Claudia will advance. Our top five were seniors and that is really fun. We will miss them next year."

Calvin won the team total with 90 points, while Allegheny was second with 120 and Hope third with 128. Hope's Erin Herrmann was the individual winner in 21:10.9.
