DePauw Wins Little State Portion of Indiana Intercollegiates; Monnett Takes Individual Title

Bloomington, Ind. - Paced by Clauda Monnett's winning performance and two other top-nine finishes, DePauw totaled 49 points to finish 19 points ahead of University of Indianapolis and win the little state portion of the Indiana Intercollegiates.

Monnett covered the 5,000-meter course in 19:17.23 and won the individual competition by nearly 15 seconds. Lois Miller was eighth in 20:29.18 followed by Becca Conley in ninth in 20:29.40.

Natalie Gruszka was 13th in 20:41.10 with Gabby Coffing finishing in 18th in 20:58.86, Haley Thompson placing 21st in 21:10.44 and Sarah Selzer finishing in 23rd in 21:17.42.

DePauw competes in a dual meet against Rose-Hulman on Friday, September 23, at the LaVern Gibson Course in Terre Haute.
