Tigers Open NCAC Tournament Play with 3-0 Quarterfinal Win over Wooster

Springfield, Ohio - DePauw opened North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament play with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-14) quarterfinal win over Wooster and advanced to the semifinals where it will take on Denison tomorrow at Noon.

The Tigers held a 35-24 advantage in kills with Gabi Allread and Suzanne Peters each totaling eight for DePauw and Anna Emmick finishing with eight for the Fighting Scots. DePauw outhit Wooster .192-.000 with Allread posting a .667 attack percentage.

Keegan Kollias paced DePauw with 27 assists with Wooster's Taylor Mathews totaling 20. The Tigers finished with eight service aces as Kollias, Peters and Elisabeth Wilson each finished with two. Laura Sherer had three of Wooster's six aces.

Kaylee Nichols paced the Tigers with 13 digs with Racheal Lenderman adding 12. Babrielle Basinki led the Wooster defensive effort with 12 digs. Kollias and Wilson each had three blocks in the win.
