Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw pushed its record to 17-4 after collecting wins over Kenyon and Alma in Neal Fieldhouse. The Tigers topped Kenyon 25-19, 25-17, 25-20 in a North Coast Athletic Conference match before defeating Alma 25-22, 14-25, 25-15, 25-22 in a non-confernece tilt.
DePauw moved to 5-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with the win over Kenyon, while the Ladies dropped to 14-7 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
The Tigers hit .302 for the match to Kenyon's .065 including .406 in the third set. Suzanne Peters led DePauw with 10 kills, while Morgan Stearley added eight and Elisabeth Wilson seven. Stearley hit .500 for the match and Wilson followed at .462.
Mackenzie Bruzzio paced Kenyon with seven kills with Jensen Shurbert assisting on 23 of the Ladies' 27 kills. Alexi Donnelly and Ashley Martens each recorded 10 digs, while Maleah Miller had three block assists.
In the afternoon match, DePauw outhit Alma, 174-.137 and held a 50-45 edge in kills. Peters led DePauw with 16 kills and Wilson chipped in 11 and hit .455. Kollias led the way with 41 assists with Wilson, Rachael Lenderman and Kaylee Nichols each recording two service aces. Lenderman had a team-high 23 digs.
Sasha Laykova paced the Scots with 10 kills, while Maressa Miller led with 18 assists. Molly Lark notched four aces with Dakota Pelach posting 18 digs. The Scots totaled 10 blocks as Katie Bush had five block assists.
DePauw returns to action on Wednesday, October 19, when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan at 7 p.m.
