Wooster, Ohio - After dropping the opening set at Wooster, DePauw battled back for a 3-2 (19-25, 25-17, 25-22, 18-25, 16-9) North Coast Athletic Conference win. The Tigers improved to 15-3 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC, while the Fighting Scots dropped to 13-5 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
In the deciding fifth set, DePauw trailed 3-2 before scoring eight straight to take control.
DePauw hit .207 to Wooster's .266 and the Tigers held a 65-54 edge in kills.
Morgan Stearley paced DePauw with 26 kills and a .442 hitting percentage, while Elisabeth Wilson added 19 kills and a .316 hitting percentage. Keegan Kollias paced DePauw with 49 assists with Emily Beckes totaling two of the Tigers' six aces. Rachael Lenderman led the Tigers with 20 digs and Wilson had two block solos.
Ksenia Klue led Wooster with 15 kills, while Lydia Webster added 14. Taylor Matthews had 35 assists and shared the team digs lead with Gabrielle Basinski as each had 12. Webster had two block solos and an assist, while Ammy Emmik had three block assists.
DePauw travels to Wittenberg on Tuesday, October 11, for a 7 p.m. match in a battle of the final two unbeaten teams in conference play.
