Tigers Blank Rose-Hulman to Move to 13-3

Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw collected its eighth win in the last nine matches and extended its win streak to three with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-23) win at Rose-Hulman. The Tigers improved to 13-3, while the Engineers dropped to 7-10.

In the opening set, the Tigers trailed 23-22, but a pair of kills from Morgan Stearley and a block assist from Elisabeth Wilson and Stearley ended the set. After staying in control for most of the second set, DePauw trailed the Engineers, 18-15, in the third before going on an 8-1 run to gain the lead for good.

Stearley led Rose-Hulman with 11 kills and hit .409, while Haley Bitzer and Wilson each totaled eight kills. Keegan Kollias assisted on 26 of the Tigers' 42 kills and added three of the team's seven service aces.

Rachael Lenderman led with 26 digs and Elisabeth Wilson recorded one block solo and three block assists.

Bailey MacInnis paced Rose-Hulman with 11 kills and a .312 attack percentage, while Katie Orbeta assisted on 16 of the Tigers' 35 kills. Gabi Razma led with 17 digs, while Emily McLendon had three block solos and three block assists.

DePauw hit .202 to Rose-Hulman's .185 and the Tigers held a 68-51 edge in digs.

The Tigers travel to Oberlin on Saturday, October 1, for a 1 p.m. North Coast Athletic Conference.
