DePauw Stays Unbeaten in NCAC with 3-1 Win over Hiram

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw moved to 12-3 overall and 2-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play following a 3-1 (25-15, 20-25, 25-13, 25-18) win over Hiram. The Terriers dropped to 9-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

After the teams split the opening two sets, DePauw outscored Hiram 12-3 to close out the third and 13-2 to wrap up the match in the fourth.

DePauw hit .178 for the match to Hiram's .058 as three Tigers had double-digit kills matches. Haley Bitzer led with 11, while Suzanne Peters and Elisabeth Wilson each had 10. Marissa Jay paced Hiram with 15 and Grace Wilson chipped in 10.

Keegan Kollias assisted on 31 of DePauw's 47 kills with Claire Maier assisting on 32 of Hiram's 41.

Rachael Lenderman led DePauw's defense with 15 digs and Kollias added 14 as five Tigers were in double figures. DePauw totaled 13 blocks as a team with Wilson recording three solos and six assists. 

Laura Kelly had a team-high 21 digs for the Terriers.

DePauw returns to action on Sept. 29 with a 7 p.m. match at Rose-Hulman.
