Third-Seed DePauw Advances to NCAC Semfinals with Opening-Round Win over Kenyon

Springfield, Ohio - For the fifth straight year, DePauw has advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals following a 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-11) opening-round win over sixth seed Kenyon. The third-seed Tigers face Ohio Wesleyan in a Noon semifinal contest tomorrow after the Battling Bishops blanked Oberlin tonight.

Lauren Falotico paced DePauw with 11 kills, while Elisabeth Wilson and Suzanne Peters each had nine. Faith Rolwes assisted on 35 of the Tigers' 45 kills, while Wilson had three of DePauw's five service aces.

Rachael Lenderman led DePauw with 18 digs with Keely McGrath chipping in 17 and Haley Bitzer totaled a team-high three blocks.

Delaney Swanson led Kenyon with nine kills and Jansen Shurbert assisted on 20 of the Ladies' 26 kills. Swanson and Rachael Thorson recorded 13 digs apiece with Lauren Kerr totaling three blocks.

DePauw hit .185 for the match to Kenyon's .068.
