Tigers Drop 3-1 Match to #23 Illinois Wesleyan

Bloomington, Ill. - In the final weekend of play before the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament, DePauw opened with a 3-1 (25-22, 16-25, 25-23, 25-19) loss at 23rd-ranked Illinois Wesleyan. The Tigers dropped to 16-9 with the loss, while the Titans improved to 21-7.

Lauren Falotico paced DePauw with 10 kills and Haley Bitzer added nine, while Faith Rolwes assisted on 37 of DePauw's 47 kills. Rachael Lenderman and Brekiesha Weszely each served up two aces. 

Keely McGrath totaled 25 digs with Elisabeth Wilson totaling five blocks and Rolwes four.

Tyler Brown led Illinois Wesleyan with 16 kills and Leah Seielstad assisted on 21 of the Titans' 53 kills. Mary Rankin's two service aces paced the hosts with Rankin totaling 22 digs. Maisy Bowden led with three blocks.

DePauw takes to the Illinois Wesleyan court twice on Saturday as it faces 20th-ranked Chicago at Noon CDT and 14th-ranked Carthage at 2 p.m.
