DePauw Blanks Denison

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw moved to 16-7 overall and 5-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-22) win over visiting Denison. The Big Red dropped to 12-10 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

DePauw hit .300 for the match and were led by Lauren Falotico's 13 kills and Suzanne Peters' 11. Peters hit .409 and Falotico .324. Faith Rolwes assisted on 36 of the Tigers' 47 kills and, along with Brekiesha Weszely, served up three aces. Elisabeth Wilson and Keely McGrath each had two aces as DePauw totaled 13.

McGrath led the defensive effort with 20 digs with Rachael Lenderman finishing with 11. Rolwes, Falotico, Nicole Burge and Wilson each totaled two blocks.

Elena Lein and Rachele Lock each had eight kills for the Big Red with Kaileigh Poe assisting on 22 of Denison's 32 kills. Kristin Thewes led with 26 digs and Leah Reinfranck totaled four blocks.

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, October 27, when it hosts sixth-ranked Wittenberg at 7 p.m.
