DePauw moves to 6-3 with 3-0 Win over Heidelberg

Springfield, Ohio - DePauw moved to 6-3 on the season after defeating Heidelberg by a 3-0 count in Wittenberg's Fall Classic. Heidelberg dropped to 8-2.

The Tigers won nine straight points in the opening set on the way to a 25-12 win, but the second and third sets were tight battles throughout with DePauw winning 29-27 and 25-23.

Elisabeth Wilson paced DePauw with 10 kills, while Faith Rolwes assisted on 33 of the Tigers' 40 kills. Emily Beckes recorded four of DePauw's seven aces with Keely McGrath totaling 20 digs and Haley Bitzer leading with two block assists.

Sarah Parker led Heidelberg with nine kills with Katie Diruzza totaling 21 assists. Rachel Raimondo had a team-high 12 digs with Parker leading the way with two block assists.

DePauw faces Hope and Otterbein tomorrow in Noon and 4 p.m. matches, respectively.
