Greencastle, Ind.- Three student-athletes on the NCAA tournament bound DePauw volleyball team were named to the 2014 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-Great Lakes Region teams.
Junior setter Faith Rolwes (Chesterfield, Mo./Villa Duchesne) was named to the first team, while junior libero Keely McGrath (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) and sophomore middle hitter Elisabeth Wilson (Carterville, Ill./Carterville) were honorable mention selections.
Rolwes is making her first appearance on the first team after being an honorable mention choice last year. During the 2014 season, she became just the second Tiger to be named AVCA Division III Player of the Week for her performance at the Berry College Invitational. The first team all-NCAC selection leads the conference in hitting percentage (.391) and is second with 9.79 assists per set. Additionally, Rolwes averages 1.39 kills and .60 blocks per set and was a two-time NCAC player of the week selection.
McGrath, a second team all-NCAC selection, led the conference with 679 digs, averaging 5.26 per set. Wilson was also a second team all-NCAC selection after leading the league with .98 blocks per set. She is second on the team with 2.43 kills per set and was named to the NCAC all-tournament team.
DePauw (26-10) earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III tournament for the second-straight season. The Tigers play Chicago tonight starting at 5:30 p.m. CST. Live stat and video links are available for tonight's contest.
