Tigers Split Saturday Matches; Head to NCAC Tournament with 24-9 Record

Lisle, Ill. - DePauw split today's two matches in the final tuneup before next weekend's North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament as the Tigers blanked North Central 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-18) before dropping a 3-2 (25-22, 25-18, 25-22, 18-25, 15-13) decision to #16 Elmhurst.

In the win over North Central, Lauren Falotico, Mary Kate Etling and Elisabeth Wilson each recorded seven saves with Etling posting a .429 attack percentage. Faith Rolwes assisted 31 of the Tigers' 36 kills, while Keely McGrath recorded 17 digs.

Etling also led the Tigers with three blocks, while Sarah Burtenshaw added two. Emily Beckes had three of the Tigers' seven service aces.

Against Elmhurst, Wilson led with 17 kills with Lauren Falotico sending down 10. Rolwes had 44 assists with McGrath totaling 24 digs. Beckes again led the way with four aces followed by McGrath with three and Etling recorded three blocks.

The Tigers are now 24-9 overall and head to the NCAC quarterfinals at Wittenberg as the tournament's second seed. DePauw opens play on Friday, November 7, against Oberlin at 7 p.m.
