DePauw Blanks Allegheny; Second Place on the Line Tomorrow

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw wasted little time in taking care of Allegheny at the Neal Fieldhouse as the Tigers blanked the Gators 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-14). The Tigers improved to 21-7 overall and 6-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play, while Allegheny dropped to 16-10 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Mary Kate Etling paced the Tigers with 11 kills and a .478 attack percentage as the Tigers hit .302 as a team. Faith Rolwes led with 22 assists and Keegan Kollias chipped in 10.

Keely McGrath's 14 digs paced the Tigers as did the two blocks apiece from Kollias, Taylor Luft and Haley Bitzer.

Bailey Gawley led the Gators with six kills, while Justine Kelly had a team-high 17 assists. Terra Schall led with 17 digs and Catherine Kasianowicz added 13. Leah Granzluebbers and Gawley paced Allegheny with two blocks apiece.

The Tigers host Hiram tomorrow at 1 p.m. and can assure themselves of no worse than a second-place finish in the NCAC standings with a victory.
