Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw totaled 52 kills, including 20 in the first set and swept Rose-Hulman 25-20, 25-14, 25-14. The Tigers improved to 19-7, while the Engineers dropped to 11-14.
In the opening set, Rose-Hulman held a 16-12 lead, but the Tigers scored the next five and 13 of the final 17 points to win the set. DePauw trailed early in the second and third sets, but quickly took control.
DePauw totaled 52 kills in the match with Sarah Burtenshaw recording 17 and Elisabeth Wilson 12. Wilson hit .579 for the match and Burtenshaw .452 as the Tigers finished with a .283 attack percentage.
Briana Harvey and Sarah Jensen each had five kills for Rose-Hulman, while Jensen had 11 assists. Mackenzie Gossard had two aces and Gabi Razma 16 digs with Gossard and Emily McLendon each totaling three blocks.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 18, when it travels to Denison for a North Coast Athletic Conference match.
