Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw posted a pair of 3-0 wins in the Neal Fieldhouse as the Tigers picked up a 25-5, 25-16, 25-15 North Coast Athletic Conference victory over Kenyon and defeated Marian (Ind.) by a 25-23, 27-25, 25-17 count. The Tigers moved to 16-4 overall and stayed perfect in the NCAC at 4-0.
In the win over Kenyon, the Tigers hit .330 for the match with Sarah Burtenshaw recording 10 kills with a .667 attack percentage. Faith Rolwes assisted on 20 of DePauw's 39 kills. DePauw aced 12 serves as Emily Beckes totaled five, while Haley Bitzer, Brekiesha Weszely and Elisabeth Wilson each had two. Keely McGrath led with 11 digs with Wilson and Rolwes finishing with three total blocks apiece.
Grace Riley, Tierney McClure and Lauren Kerr each had four kills for the Ladies with Jensen Shurbert assisting on 12 kills. Rachael Thorson led Kenyon with 20 digs.
While DePauw beat Marian 3-0, the Tigers had to rally from a 23-15 deficit in the second set to win 27-25.
Mary Kate Etling and Wilson each had 11 kills with Rolwes totaling 40 assists. McGrath led with 18 digs, while Rolwes totaled five blocks with Etling adding four and Wilson three.
Ericka Ham led Marian with six kills, while Julie Hoying totaled 12 assists and four aces. Kylie Flanagan led with 13 digs and Crystal Williams totaled four blocks.
DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, October 7, at Wittenberg in a showdown of NCAC unbeatens.
