#20 DePauw Splits Sunday Matches; Stays Perfect in NCAC Play

Wooster, Ohio - The 20th-ranked Tigers wrapped up the weekend with a split of their Sunday matches after defeating North Coast Athletic foe Wooster 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-10) and dropping a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-21) non-conference decision to Carnegie Mellon. DePauw is now 13-4 overall and 2-0 in the NCAC.

In the Wooster match, the Tigers hit .300 and were paced by Mary Kate Etling with 10 kills, while Faith Rolwes assisted on 38 of DePauw's 45 kills. Keely McGrath totaled 13 digs, while Rachael Lenderman added 11. Elisabeth totaled two blocks and three aces in the win.

The Tigers hit just .116 in the loss to Carnegie Mellon and were led by Sarah Burtenshaw's nine kills. Rolwes totaled 23 assists with McGrath serving a pair of aces and leading with 21 digs. Etling paced DePauw with two blocks.

DePauw returns to the court on Tuesday, September 30, when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan at 7 p.m. on Dig Pink Night.
