DePauw Finishes Fourth at NCAC Championships

Granville, Ohio - Led by three top-six finishes on the final day of competition, DePauw totaled 1,075.5 points and finished fourth at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. Kenyon won with 1,953 points, while Denison was second with 1,860 and Wooster was third with 1,225.5.

Mary Woods earned all-conference honors in the 100-yard individual medley by placing third in 59.13 seconds.

Ali Tallen was sixth in the 200 butterfly (2:10.29) with Val Dowd finishing 14th in the event (2:19.44). In the 1,650 freestyle, a pair of Tigers were in the top 12 as Rachel Graves was 10th (18:10.51) and Riley Steffey 12th (18:11.84).

In the 200 backstroke, Maria Herrera paced DePauw by finishing 11th (2:09.04) followed by Jeanne Cullen in 13th (2:12.99), Julia Keller 16th (2:14.20) and Marihelen Gallagher in 17th (2:14.93).

Olivia Neff was DePauw's top finisher in the 100 free after placing 11th (53.06), while Allison Lund was 12th (53.98) and Ash Dapore in 13th (54.27). Grace Lund rounded out DePauw's top 18 finishers by placing 15th (2:39.59).

The Tigers' 400 free relay of Graves, Keller, Maggie Wagenbrenner and Dapore finished the meet in sixth in 3:39.05.
